Castrol Aircol SW lubricants are synthetic polyol ester (POE)-based oils for air conditioning and refrigeration compressors.

The synthetic bases used are fully miscible with HFC-type gases, especially with R134a, even at temperatures below operating conditions. These lubricants are designed to enhance hydrolysis stability and are inhibited against copper corrosion. They are wax-free, giving them a very low pour point, which helps keep the evaporator clean, ensuring efficient heat exchange.

They are available in viscosities ranging from ISO 32 to ISO 170.
