Castrol Tribol™ GR HT 2 (formerly known as Optitemp™ HT 2) are high-performance greases for long-lasting lubrication of bearings and bushings under high operating temperatures, as well as bearings under normal or medium pressures. Castrol Tribol GR HT 2 has a smooth color.

Application:

For bearings and bushings subjected to thermal loads, as well as turbocharger bearings in the textile, wood, plastic, and food industries, in addition to ovens in the automotive industry. Steam boiler bearings or drying cylinders. As a sealing grease for labyrinth seals at high temperatures. Applications in slightly acidic or alkaline environments.

• Optimal protection against wear in the high-load range with very good load-carrying capacity.

• Especially resistant to aging and temperature, structurally stable.

• Resistant to cold and hot water, with limited resistance to alkalis and acids.

• Excellent corrosion protection.

• Pumpable in centralized lubrication systems.

• Temperature range: -20 °C / -4 °F to +160 °C / +320 °F. For lifetime-lubricated bearings, the temperature of +150 °C / +302 °F, under normal conditions, should not be exceeded. Short-term service at higher temperatures is possible—please consult our technical service.
