Castrol Braycote™ Inertox 2 (formerly known as Castrol Inertox™ Heavy) is one of the most chemically and thermally stable greases in the Castrol lubricants range. Formulated from an advanced synthetic base with a non-soap thickener and enhanced thermal stability through a blend of additives and solid lubricants, it provides exceptional wear protection.

Application

Braycote Inertox 2 is designed for long-term service in bearings and anti-friction bearings under harsh environments. It is inert to most corrosive and/or other aggressive environments.

For bearings and sliding bearings with long lubrication intervals, at high temperatures, or under harsh environmental conditions such as:

- Paint drying lines

- Sheet drawing machines

- Drying frames in the textile industry

- Kilns in the ceramic industry.

For lubricating seals and friction points in vacuum chambers, such as in the electronics industry. Operating temperature range: -25°C to +260°C (adequate ventilation must be ensured at higher temperatures).
