PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

CASTROL ALPHA SP gear lubricants are formulated from high-quality mineral base oil and extreme pressure additives, based on specially selected sulfur-phosphorus compounds. CASTROL ALPHA SP also contains antioxidant, anticorrosion, and antifoaming additives. CASTROL ALPHA SP is metal-free. It offers good thermal stability and excellent oxidation resistance, along with strong demulsibility and low foam-forming tendency.

APPLICATION:

CASTROL ALPHA SP gear oils are recommended for all types of enclosed industrial gear transmissions, including steel and bronze worm gear units. They are specially selected for gear systems operating under heavy or shock loads and are suitable for circulation systems. CASTROL ALPHA SP fluids meet specifications for gear oils such as Bevini Riduttori SpA, David Brown Gear Industries (Pty) Ltd, David Brown Special Products Ltd, Getriebebau Nord, Reynold Gears, Renk, and other top-tier specifications. The CASTROL ALPHA SP range is available in the following ISO viscosities: 68, 100, 150, 220, 320, 460, 680, and 1000.
